Residential Conveyancing Solicitor – Street Office

 

Our Street office is looking for a residential property Solicitor with 5 years plus PQD to work within the team and manage their own caseload to include new builds, freehold, leasehold, sales & purchases transactions from instruction through to completion.

 

Key skills required

·         Familiarity with CQS accreditation and procedures

·         Handling caseloads relating to residential conveyancing transactions

·         Dealing with purchase, transfer, re mortgage and sales transactions

·         Liaison with clients, estate agents, commercial agents, mortgage lenders and solicitors

·         Supervision and organisation of paralegals in the team

·         Excellent communication, client care and organisational skills required

As well as an excellent salary of £35,000-£40,000 depending on experience additional benefits will be discussed at interview and include:

Commercial Property Solicitor – Taunton Office

We are looking for someone who has extensive experience commercial property and some residential conveyancing who would like to join a friendly team.

Acorn Solicitors have offices in Taunton and Street Somerset, the role would be based in the Taunton office. We have a strong loyal client base having been established in the Taunton and Street area for 11 years. Our fee earners are all specialists in their respective fields and act for a wide range of commercial and private sector clients.

Our aim is to recruit dynamic, forward thinking individuals who wish to be part of our growth and who share the firm’s core values.

The Role:

  • Advising on freehold and leasehold transactions
  • Conduct of lease extensions
  • Ability to act on the sale or purchase of businesses
  • Ability to work unsupervised and demonstrate leadership skills
  • Ability to work under pressure within a busy office
  • A good breadth of knowledge in this area
  • Familiarity with CQS and lender requirements

Requirements:

  • 2 years+ PQE in Residential & Commercial Property
  • Experience within corporate law would be a bonus
  • Able to work autonomously on complex legal matters
  • Track of record of achieving career, financial (including fee targets) and business development goals;
  • Enthusiasm to engage in networking and business development;
  • Clear demonstrable ability and keenness to build and maintain client and referrer relationships;
  • Self-motivated team player
  • Ambition to progress
  • Excellent administration and organisational skills;
  • Professional but friendly and approachable

Salary: £32,000-£40,000 depending on experience
