When a loved one dies, it can be hard to know what to do next.
When someone dies, the executor of the Will should apply for a Grant of Probate, depending on the size of the estate. The person who is granted Probate manages the distribution of the estate. This could be a professional such as a solicitor, or a friend or relative of the deceased. However, dealing with the estate of a loved one can be daunting and you can appoint us to do the work for you.
You can either appoint us to just apply for a Grant of Probate on your behalf, or you can appoint us to deal with the whole estate from the Grant of Probate to the final distribution of assets and legacies. Alternatively, we can simply just give you Probate advice from our offices in Taunton and Street.
The administration of estates is dealt with quickly and efficiently by the Probate Solicitors here at Acorn. We recognise that dealing with the affairs of a loved one who has passed away can be very stressful and time consuming. Our sensitive, legal experts aim to do things as quickly as possible, leaving you to spend time with your nearest and dearest at this sad time.
We are here as much or as little as you need us.
It may be that we simply provide you with Probate advice during a free half hour consultation, which we can either do face to face following social distancing at our offices, home visit or by telephone or video conference call.
