David Sinclair - Partner (Taunton)
I am a Somerset resident, father of three and former chair of Solicitors for the Elderly. In 2009 I was shortlisted for Young Lawyer of the Year in the UK. I am a Solicitor passionate about helping local people secure a top level legal service that is good value for money. Outside of the office I enjoy keeping fit and taking our dog George for long walks with my family. I also like following the Somerset Rebels at speedway, Bath in rugby and Arsenal in football (sorry if you support another team) and Somerset county cricket club. I love being a Solicitor as I enjoy meeting people and being a trusted source for legal advice. As part of my role in running a local law firm I am passionate about raising funds for local charities and supporting our local economy. It's a privilege to work for older clients and I love hearing their stories and their wisdom.
Jill Sinclair - Partner (Street)
I am David's mother and have over 30 years of experience helping Somerset residents in legal issues. Whilst studying for my law degree, I managed to juggle bringing up two children! I am a Solicitor who likes to put my client’s at ease and really get to know them so that I can be in the best position possible to give them the sound advice they need. I will always do my best to explain complex legal issues in the simplest way possible. I like to put my clients first and will go out of my way to meet their needs and be the friendly face they can turn to.Outside of the office I enjoy trips away in my boat with my husband and my two dogs.
Rebecca Stone - Paralegal (Street)
I am a paralegal in the Street office. I have been with Acorn since 2012 and having put my hand to a bit of everything at the firm, I have now committed to Conveyancing as I am currently undertaking a Licensed Conveyancer qualification. I love speaking to clients and guiding them through what can be a stressful process. Outside of work I play rugby for Bridgwater & Albion Ladies and enjoy walks in the countryside and going to the theatre.
Steve Green - Chartered Legal Executive
I am a highly experienced in Will Writing, having first started in 1981. . Returning to the law 4 years ago I requalified and have been working as a Chartered Legal Executive since then. I’m very impressed with the firm. What you see is what you get. They really care about their clients and employees and I couldn’t be more delighted to be on board. Outside of work, my passions include cycling, gardening and walking.
Fiona Holloway - Solicitor (Street)
Being a full time mum and part time Solicitor can be challenging yet rewarding. I work with Jill Sinclair as an assistant for Probate Matters. I am dedicated to our clients and help to sort out problems swiftly.
Anna Giannetti - Legal Secretary (Street)
I am a legal secretary in our Street branch working with Jill and the team in the Conveyancing Department to help keep the transactions running smoothly. I enjoy chatting to the clients and will go out of my way to make sure the clients are satisfied with our services. When I am not in the office I like to be cooking up some delicious Italian cuisine!
Imogen Powell - Solicitor (Taunton)
I joined the team in the Taunton branch to assist partner, David Sinclair, in delivering the Wills and Probate service. Having qualified two years ago I am very excited to take up this position. Jo Hiett – Legal Secretary (Taunton)
I am Neil’s secretary and help him out with all of his conveyancing matters. I enjoy interacting with the clients and updating them as their transaction progresses especially when giving clients the news that they are now proud owners of a new home! Outside of the office I love to spend time with my little family and watching my son grow up. I also love anything crafty from cross stitch to colouring in.
Neil Watson - Conveyancing Manager (Taunton)
I am a conveyancer with over 20 years experience in the Taunton area with many valuable connections with other professionals and clients in the community. I enjoy helping my clients through this stressful time making the conveyancing process as smooth as possible. I am very thorough and take my time over each case to make sure there are no hidden surprises. When I am not in the office, I enjoy a good game of golf and the odd fishing trip when I can!

I am also Neil’s secretary and I work from home. Working from home means I can enjoy my children growing up whilst helping Neil out in any way I can. When I am not busy typing I enjoy spending time with my family.

I am David's wife, a part time receptionist and a full time mum! I enjoy managing our busy reception and making clients feel welcome. Outside of work I like going for a coffee with friends and having days out with my family.
Rhiannon Williams – Apprentice Paralegal
I am an apprentice paralegal currently undertaking my apprenticeship through Weston College. I work in the Wills, Probate & Private Client department and am thoroughly enjoying the start of my legal career. I love to travel and have visited many countries – a highlight has been hiking the Inca Trail in Peru.
Emily House - Paralegal Street
I am a paralegal based in our Street office and work in the conveyancing department. I started working at Acorn when I left school when I started as an Business and Admin apprentice and then recently finished my paralegal apprenticeship with Weston College.
Sally Ashford – Receptionist (Street)
I am the full time receptionist in Street. I love meeting and talking to our clients. I am always very busy and every day is different! In my spare time I enjoy country and coastal walks, gardening, photography, the theatre and spending time with my family, friends and pets.
