Popular solicitor Jill Sinclair is celebrating 30 years of being a Solicitor this year by moving into new premises.

Jill, a Partner in Acorn Solicitors with her son David, have seen their firm achieve so much growth in the last four years that they are moving into bigger High Street premises later this month. Jill started her legal training in 1979 and juggled raising a family with completing her Law Degree before qualifying as a Solicitor in 1985.Jill said:

“One of my cherished memories was to stand on the steps of the Law Society in London with my two small children and my Certificate.”

A few years later she became the first woman partner in over 100 years in her previous firm. Her son, David, qualified as a Solicitor in 2004 and manages the office in Taunton.Jill said:

“It was another proud moment to stand on the Law Society steps again, 20 years later, with my son, this time a great deal taller, with his own certificate. Now Acorn Solicitors is moving into bigger premises to help even more people. It is a privilege to have met so many lovely people over the years. I am now dealing with matters not only for their children but grandchildren as well.“Now the firm is moving into larger offices, I hope that this will enable us to help many more people.”“I am delighted to work together with my son in a family business. I believe in working hard and I greatly enjoy my work.”
