Somerset law firm are celebrating after their latest apprentice won a prestigious award.

Rebecca Bailey of Acorn Solicitors, won Higher Level Apprentice of the Year in the ‘Grow Somerset Talent’ Apprentice Awards. This was after helping the firm achieve 100% growth in the past three years at just 21 years of age. Acorn Solicitors, a law firm in Taunton and Street, were also shortlisted for Micro Employer of the Year Award. They also have three success-story apprentices in their fast-growing 15-employee family-run firm.

Rebecca started out doing a Level 3 Business and Administration apprenticeship at the Taunton law firm. She has now moved on to study for her Level 5 Diploma in Management. This is alongside working as Acorn’s assistant office manager.

Rebecca said:

Senior Partner David Sinclair, an expert in Wills and Probate issues, said:

The award was presented at the Holiday Inn in Taunton. The awards seek to acknowledge the achievements of exceptional apprentices and of the businesses who have helped to nurture them.
