David was representing Solicitors for the Elderly the national organization representing legal professionals specializing in helping people plan for later life. The organization has over 1500 members nationally and David is one of seven directors who lead the organization.

Eddie presented David with the scenario of someone with no living relatives and asked what would happen to their estate, David said in these circumstances everything could pass to the crown.

David Kicked off with the Solicitors for the Elderly research that only 39% of people have made a Will. Asked why people don’t make Wills David said that in his experience people don’t like contemplating their own death but it is something that needs to be done as without a Will you have no control over your money or possessions.

In conclusion David finished with urging all members of the public to make a Will using a member of Solicitors for the Elderly or a Solicitor who specializes in Wills as they can take them through all the relevant laws and things they need to know.

David enjoyed the experience and helping to highlight the need for clients to make Wills.
